Our 40,000 square foot facility is equipped with 2, 4, 5, & 9 axis CNC turning centers plus 3 & 5 axis CNC milling machines to meet your custom precision machining needs. We use our 'Lights Out' manufacturing capability to maximize our production efficiency and reduce turnaround time. These CNC machines enable us to produce custom components ranging from simple fasteners to complex machine components, while maintaining tight straightness, concentricity, and diameter tolerances close to 0.001".
Typical materials that we process include alloy steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Our largest lathe can handle parts up to 26" in diameter and 59" in length. Splining, hobbing, and broaching machines at our job shop enable us to manufacture a diverse range of spline profiles, gears, and sprockets. We also produce exotic and precious metal components as well as parts machined from plastic polymers. For building 2-D or 3-D component models, our design team uses CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and CADKey.
MasterCam and MasterCamX2 software are used to create CNC machine programs for manufacturing complicated parts and prototypes. For every job, Harvan creates a process sheet that lists all the operations required for manufacturing parts to customer specifications. An extensive range of quality control equipment, including a CMM, height gauges, surface & harness testers, and gauges ensure compliance to exact customer specifications. In addition to precision machining, Harvan offers value added services such as dynamic balancing, pretwisting, polishing, and finishing.
