CNC Turning and Milling

CNC Turning and Milling

Our 40,000 square foot facility is equipped with 2, 4, 5, & 9 axis CNC turning centers plus 3 & 5 axis CNC milling machines to meet your custom precision machining needs. We use our ‘Lights Out’ manufacturing capability to maximize our production efficiency and reduce turnaround time. These CNC machines enable us to produce custom components ranging from simple fasteners to complex machine components, while maintaining tight straightness, concentricity, and diameter tolerances close to 0.001”.

Typical materials that we process include alloy steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Our largest lathe can handle parts up to 26” in diameter and 59” in length. Splining, hobbing, and broaching machines at our job shop ...

Laser Cutting

Utilizing a 6-axis Mazak Space Gear Mark II laser machine, Harvan performs 2-D/3-D cutting, engraving, marking, and fabricating operations on metal sheets as well as tubular structures. The CO2 laser cutting machine enables us to cut holes, slots, and special features on mild steel materials up to 0.8” thick and stainless steel materials up to 0.375” thick. Our laser cutting machine can process metal sheets up to 60” in width and 120” in length.

The laser cutter can be fitted with a tube chuck for handling pipes, tubes, and structural shapes. In addition, the 6-axis capability of our laser cutting machines allows us to cut multiple features on sheets and machined components in a single setup. The Mazak Space Gear Mark II ...

Welding and Fabrication

Welding and Fabrication

At our CSA W47.1 certified job shop, we offer welding and fabrication services for tubular frames, POP display fixtures, and other custom components. Our extensive fabrication capabilities include welding, forming, bending, and shearing. Assembling suspensions, electrical sensor assemblies, as well as other dissimilar metal components through manual and robotic welding is our specialty. The Motoman Arcworld 6000 dual robotic weld cell at our facility can handle parts up to 8.5’ by 2’ in size.

We are also equipped with a wide range of welding equipment for fabricating or assembling components through MIG, TIG, pulse, and GMAW or wire feed welding. In addition, an Electro Arc tap burner is used for safely removing broken drills or ...
